INFRASTRUCTURE BUDGETWhile growing crops in a hydroponic environment is less labor intensive and cheaper than conventional farming methods, the infrastructure does require and initial investment to get up and running. Using seed capital investors, we always have the necessary funding to begin and finish a project, ensuring our investors, farmers, distributors, and corporate buyers aren’t exposed to any risk.
While there is an initial infrastructure cost, the high yields of hydroponic farming means that returns on investment are made quickly; a hydroponic farm produces a yield 1,000% greater than traditional method, using the same amount of land space. Once a farm is up and running, our controlled environments are completely automated, which keeps operational costs low. This ensures that all hydroponic farms make consistent returns. Moreover, our farming facilities are not vulnerable to climate events, diseases, or pests, which often ruin conventional crops, diminishing returns.
Pegasus Agriculture is currently planning hydroponic projects, farming facilities, and manufacturing all over the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This includes Oman, Qatar, Tunisia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the U.A.E. Many of these countries suffer from a relative lack of arable land, as well as climates that are unsuitable for agricultural production.
Our company will use vertical hydroponic farming techniques, which allows for a maximum output of high quality produce, at a lower cost than foreign imports. We enter into 100-year land lease agreements with municipalities, governments, and private landowners, in order to construct, operate, and, finally, distribute freshly grown produce throughout the region.
Currently, we have 160 hectares-worth of projects planned in the following countries:
Due to the nature of hydroponics, the land we occupy is often not arable and unsuitable for traditional agriculture. However, as we are growing hydroponically within a giant automated and controlled environment, all we require is a supply of water and road access for distribution.
If you feel your land could be used to protect and supply the food security of the GCC, please get in touch with our planning department for more information.
FARMS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Our trophy project with our partners Gardinia Hydroponic Farming (GHF) is in Oman. This farm has been in operation since 2013 and produces high quality crops thanks to the utilization of the very latest hydroponic and water-saving techniques, along with European technology and management systems.
Our second project in the U.A.E. is ready for development. This ensures a permanency to our progresses that will yield both investment returns and high levels of food crops. We work with a wide variety of people and organizations, from local authorities and municipal governments, to private landowners, which allows us to construct, operate, and distribute in these areas.
In addition, the land has access to enough water to ensure the smooth operation of our hydroponic facilities, as well as having access to roads, enabling easy distribution.
MANAGE YOUR OWN FARM
GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
Our global distribution network means investors do not need to establish their own. As soon as yields are ready, our channels will ensure that you get the best price for your crops, and at a fraction of the cost of foreign imports. In addition, this helps to ensure that your produce goes towards helping the GCC and MENA regions achieve independent food security.
You retain full control over the land and its titles. If you wish to operate and manage your own farm, and distribute your own produce, we can assist and support you. Or, you can choose to lt us manage , harvest, and distribute your produce for you, making any investment in hydroponic agriculture simple and easy.
